Malin Annie Jansson
is a Swedish photographer, videographer and writer, based in Denmark. She has a BA in Visual/Photographic Communication from the Danish School of Media and Journalism (2012-2015), and in 2022 she completed a course in Cultural Journalism Writing from Malmö University.
Her work is taking a base in journalistic and creative projects, focusing on storytelling in all its forms.
Since 2015 Malin has been working as a freelancer in Sweden, Denmark, Cambodia and Myanmar with, among others, the Swedish Red Cross Youth, VisitDenmark, SIND, Télérama, Tidningen Re:public, Kristeligt Dagblad, NGO-CEDAW, for several private clients, musicians, events and NGOs.
She is the founder of project SISTER (2016-2018), a multimedia project portraying young Khmer Women’s Rights defenders in Cambodia, sponsored by Amnesty. Between 2019-2022 she was part of running an artist community in Copenhagen.
Her work has, among others, been published in: Politiken, Skånska Dagbladet, Télérama, Tidningen Re:public, Kristeligt Dagblad and TEMA Magazine.
She speaks and writes in Danish, Swedish and English.
