Underneath a park, a busy road, and a zoo, there is a dripping wet and dark cave. Between 1859-1933 the cave was used as drinking water reservoir for Copenhagen. It helped to transform the old Copenhagen into a much more clean and healthy city to live in. Until 1981 it contained 16 million litres of water. Now it is empty.
